Flu Vaccinations

Flu clinics are available to book into during the week at various times. If you are booking an appointment to see a GP or nurse at the surgery for something else and you are eligible for a flu vaccination (please see the list below) please ask the doctor or nurse to give you the vaccination at the same time and they will be happy to (so you don't need to book a separate appointment). We have had the FLUAD vaccine for patients aged 65 and over and the Quadrivalent vaccine for patients under 65 years old.
You should have the flu vaccine if you:
  • are 65 years old or over
  • are pregnant
  • have certain medical conditions
  • are living in a long-stay residential care home or another long-stay care facility
  • receive a carer's allowance, or you're the main carer for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if you fall ill
Parents/guardians of children aged 2 and 3 years old please book your child for their influenza vaccination at the surgery we currently have supplies of the Fluenz nasal spray from NHS England.
